Hi there!

I'm Terry. Thank you for signing up for my emails.

Like many parents, I was looking for simple ways to connect with my daughter. The moments we enjoyed most didn't require much at all. They were reading stories together, making art or little crafts, and exploring outside.

I've always enjoyed making things and being creative. Before my career in nonprofits, I was an elementary school teacher. This is when I understood that children learn through curiosity, play, and hands-on experiences.

After becoming a mom, I started looking for ways to create special moments with my daughter. Along the way, I found myself becoming more curious about Korean culture, stories, and traditions as a way to learn more about my own heritage and share parts of it with her.

It's a journey we're still on together. That curiosity, along with a love of creativity, nature play, and discovering traditions from around the world, helped inspire San Toki Tales.

Each month, I send a little mail adventure inspired by stories I grew up with or am discovering, outdoor play, and simple paper crafts and toys.

My hope is that every envelope feels like a small surprise in the mailbox and gives families a chance to explore, imagine, and spend time together.
