San Toki Tales • 산토끼 이야기 is a monthly story mail club inspired by nature, play, imagination, and connection, created for children and grownups to enjoy together.
Each month, an envelope filled with surprise and delight arrives with a new piece of the San Toki world inside.
Each envelope includes:
- An original story letter from the world of San Toki
- A nature play adventure
- A paper craft or paper toy
- Collectible paper characters to play with and keep
- A tiny surprise featuring artwork by my three-year old daughter
One month, you may go on a nature scavenger hunt to build a tiny forest home. The next, you may meet a character from a familiar folktale or a story yet to be discovered. Each letter brings a new piece of the story to discover.
This mail club was created out of a love for folk art, imaginative outdoor play, Korean culture, and storytelling traditions around the world.
“San Toki” (산토끼) means “mountain rabbit” in Korean and is a beloved children’s song many Korean children grew up hearing.
